Tibco EMS/JMS Admin - Memphis, TN

We are currently looking for “Tibco EMS/JMS Admin”. The requirement details are as follows

Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: 11 months contract

100% ONSITE- NO REMOTE WORK

Role Description:
The role does not include actual code development to publish or subscribe to messages.
It involve developing and designing the message flows and converting them into configurations in TIBCO EMS that support them.
It also requires installation of TIBCO EMS, patch maintenance of TIBCO EMS, and working with application developer in testing their code to ensure a core set of test cases is completed. These test cases ensure that the applications meet teams requirements for being well behaved. They are mainly functional test for failover, connecting and disconnecting, etc.

Required skillsets
• Experience of JMS and specifically knowledge of the TIBCO EMS product – currently using version 4.4.3 – 5.1.
• Experience of messaging design patterns (P-2-P, Pub Sub, Topics Vs Queues, Routing, etc)
• Working knowledge of Linux specifically RedHat
• Scripting knowledge with shell, perl (optional)
• Ability to gather and document application and specifically messaging requirements
• Ability to transfer requirements into a messaging design that corresponds to the application design of both publishing and subscribing applications.
• Strong communication skills – will be required to attend requirement and project meetings via conference calls.  Reporting of project status is very important.
• Optional Skills: WebLogic Administration.
• Must have used TIBCO EMS.
• Must have defined Topics/Queues.
• Must have performed messaging design and configuration of EMS on at least 5 projects.
• Projects should have been of significant scope and size – Muliple topics/queues/Routes/Bridges.
• Must have had to conduct capacity planning for the project.
• Must have designed a fault tolerant (active/active and active/passive) implementation model for EMS instances
• Must have a good understanding of messaging design patterns and when to use them
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Experience developing application in C or Java in a messaging environment
Software development project experience
• There may be some after hours and/or weekend work required.
