ETL Informatica Developer

 

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

 

Looking for an ETL Developer who will be responsible in many stages of a software development project life-cycle.  This particular position is focused on developing ETL solutions for clients using the Informatica suite of products.

The responsibilities for this position include

·         review and assessment of functional and technical requirements for projects,

·         assisting in providing estimations and completing impact analysis for new project efforts,

·         development of program specifications,

·         lower-level design deliverables,

·         program coding and unit testing,

·         assisting QA efforts, and

·         Producing of various developments, testing and deployment project deliverables. 

The ETL Developer will primarily take direction from the Technical Lead and will work alongside other development and testing resources on the team.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead analysis of requirements for new assigned project initiatives

·         Assist with completing impact analysis & effort estimations on new projects.

·         Serve as a self-sufficient developer for assigned project efforts

·         Develop required specifications and design documents for program code

·         Develop and unit test program code related with ETL efforts

·         Assist and collaborate with team and client testing teams to ensure quality of product deliverables Develop design, development and testing deliverables as required €Complete deployment planning and assist with deployment execution

·         Produce support documentation

·         Collaborate with Tech Lead to establish project plans

·         Provide and communicate regular status updates to Tech Lead

Must Have Skills/Qualifications

·         Proven 3+ years of Informatica development experience with some solid exposure to version 9.x.  Should be at or near expert level at Informatica.

·         Solid 3+ years working with leading database technologies such as Oracle, Sybase within an ETL framework.  Exposure with Exadata beneficial.

·         Solid 2+ years of hands-on overall experience with Data Warehouse technologies within the domain of ETL/Data Integration, Business Intelligence, relational and multi-dimensional Database systems

·         Solid 2+ years of experience with XML.

·         Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Information Technology/Computer Science, Analytics, Business Technology

·         Must reside in, or be prepared to relocate to, the greater Minneapolis, Minnesota area
