Project Lead(Business Objects)-Swiftwater,PA
Contract position-6 months
Oversee the design, development, implementation, testing and deployment of a Business Objects universe (on R2 or 3.1) connected to a large Adverse Events database and datawarehouse for the Pharmacoviligence Analytical Reporting Platform (Oracle AERS)
- Work with a third-party vendor to ensure all phases of the project are completed on time and with a high degree of quality.
- Lead the architecture and universe design of the overall BO Solution, ensuring a high performing analytical reporting solution
- Manage, analyze and implement on-going change controls in the existing BO/ETL (Datastage) data warehousing environment
- Must be a hands-on with BO.
- Nice to have if they are hands-on with Datastage ETL as well.
- Manage the project schedule, documentations for the project.
- Some POC work may be done in SAP HANA as well.
Skills - 8+ years of Hands on development experience with BOXI R2 or BOXI 3.1 Report Development
- ETL (Datastage) hands on development experience is strongly preferred.
- 8 + years of Universe Design, Perfomance tuning, BI architecture design experience.
- 8+ years of Oracle/SQL experience.
- Must be a great communicator with experience working internationally with Europe.
- Must be very organized with Project Management skillis (scoping, negotiating, documentation and project planning)
- Pharma experience/Adverse Event reporting preferred.
- BO 4.0, HANA experience (nice to have).

Education - Undergraduate Degree in Technology preferred.
