Job Description: The Project Manager of Business Intelligence will align with Business, IT and external partners to support improved reporting and processes with technology solutions. Duties: · Evaluate, implement and support BI solutions (applications, toolsets and integrations) to improve the quality and availability of data needed to support business decisions. · Manages the day-to-day functions related to application development and support of our Business Intelligence systems · Writes and/or reviews functional and technical specification documents · Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis to include: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation · Works with consultants to develop and implement applications · Establishes service level agreements with the business and works with IT operations to ensure system availability · Implements and maintains procedures to monitor nightly job schedules and to ensure that failures are escalated and resolved on a timely basis · Adopts and follows change management procedures related to implementation of application changes · Maintains and turns over to IT Operations documentation necessary to operate all systems, including execution schedules and data flow charts · Coordinates system upgrades, patch installation, system outages, and maintenance schedules with vendors, other IT Managers and senior IT personnel Skills/Qualifications: · 5+ years application development experience · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration · Extensive experience with one or more major BI technology platforms Other Experience: · Experience with Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling · Experience utilizing ODI and or Informatica · Experience utilizing OBIEE, Hyperion, BI Apps | |
