Oracle Financials & Peoplesoft Developer

 

1.   Peoplesoft Developer

 

Location : Colorado Springs, CO, Boston, MA; Irving, TX. (3 LOCATIONS)

Duration : 5 Months contract to start with

Interview : Telephonic

 

 

This position is more on the architecture and business analysis side of the house compared to fully fledged development. So, this person must have experience to learn on the fly and come up with thinking outside of the box that we can apply as a practical approach. Person will be directly working with a director and above level on a regular basis.

 

• Principal level Oracle/PeopleSoft developer with more than 10 years of experience

More than 7 years of experience with HCM 9.1 and People Tools 8.50 or greater

Implementation experience with HCM 9.1. Ideal consultant would have experience HCM 8.9 to 9.0 and 9.1 upgrade experience

• Solid experience with Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, File Interfaces, security implementation, People Code, App Engine and Portal Technology.

• Solid functional understanding of Work Force Application (WFA), Organization Hierarchy, ESS/MSS/Staffing, Person model for contingent workers

• Experience with custom development (i.e. development apart from PeopleSoft to know external technologies like web services, custom coding etc.)

• Good understanding of Oracle 11g database

• Experience with integration of Oracle SOA/ BPEL a plus – not required.

• Person should be able to lead a team of developers for the above skills

• Project management, planning and work with other PMs/BAs in the organization

• Good presentation skills to the leaders

• Coordinate full PeopleSoft software development life cycle (SDLC)

 

 

2.    Sr. Functional Lead Oracle Financials consultant w/ iProcurement

Location: Boston, MA

Duration: 12+ months

 

 

Client is seeking a talented and tenured Sr. Functional Oracle Financials Consultant with iProcurement experience for a 6 – 12 month project in Boston, MA.

Our client in the financial sector is performing an Oracle EBS financial migration project from 11i to R12. 

They are in need of a team lead to oversee the migration, provide hands on functional responsibilities, and will report into the VP of Applications who is responsible for the Global Implementation of R12. . 

 

Ideally the successful candidate will possess some Project/Team management experience as part of the requirement. Additionally the resource must have multiple projects in their work history with 11i and R12. The resource needs experience with all core Oracle Financial modules, AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, etc as well as have extensive experience with implementing Oracle iProcurement.  The selected candidate will be working with the business team, technical team and will presenting to executive leadership in meetings, therefore the resource needs to be a strong communicator with stellar interpersonal capabilities. Please note that this resource may have to travel up to 25% both domestically and international and this resource MUST be open and permitted to travel when required. Any travel outside of Boston, MA will be reimbursed.

 

To Qualify:

10+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Financials Consultant

10+ years of Oracle Financials modules to include AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, etc

5+ years of iProcurement implementation experience in both instances of 11i and R12

Proven history of Senior/Lead capabilities as the primary driver behind implementations

Proven & demonstrated knowledge of both Oracle 11i & R12

Excellent Interpersonal capabilities
