Job Description · Linux (RHEL/CentOS preferred) · A solid understanding of the Linux boot process and problem diagnosis. · Knowledge of Linux file systems and permissions structures · Experience packaging software with RPM. · Experience with kickstart,tftp and pxe. · Knowledge of network protocols such as IP, TCP, UDP, and HTTP · Configuration, management and tuning of MySQL, Apache · experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, cacti and graphite. · centralized configuration management (Puppet, cfengine) (preferred) · Revision control systems like SVN. (preferred) · LDAP solutions like Linux integration with Active Directory · Experience with NFS and CIFS via SAMBA · experience monitoring application/server health and diagnosing issues from server logs · Security best practices in Linux · Understanding of network switching and firewalling is desirable · Familiarity with Apache Web Servers. · performance tuning and capacity planning

We have urgent requirement for PHP Developer

 

Location: NY

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

 

Job Responsibilities:

•        Architect and develop a PHP application for a high traffic gaming site using the Joomla framework

•        Work with product owner and development team to spec business requirements

 

Required Skills:

•        At least 4 years of web programming with PHP and MySQL

•        Advanced knowledge working with Joomla and Zend frameworks

•        Proficient in Unix/Linux environment.

•        At least 2 years experience working with front-end technologies ie Javascript, HTML, CSS
