We have urgent requirement for Information Security Specialist

 

Location: Trenton, NJ

Duration: 6 Months Extendable

In person interview after telephonic round.

 

 

Develop and sustain a State Cyber security strategy to facilitate threat & risk analysis and public-private sector IT working group that spans all CIP sectors.

 

Responsibilities:

PLEASE NOTE:  It is probable that this project will be extended indefinitely beyond the initial time frame, pending fiscal approval.

 

ISS1- The Information Security Specialist 1 will work with the Information Specialist 2 in achieving the State's information security goals and objectives.

 

The ISS 1 will develop and implement a sustainable Public-Private collaborative Information Security program, along with a fully functioning IT Sector Workgroup to support NJ's Infrastructure Advisory Committee.  Working with OHSP, the Information Security Specialist 1 will establish and maintain a contact list of all public and private entities that will comprise membership in the Workgroup and develop processes to expand membership and maintain active and ongoing communications within the Workgroup.

 

The ISS 1 will work with various technical staff within OIT and other state agencies, and OIT will develop content for IT sector specific portal to provide outreach, information sharing and analysis of cyber security within NJ.

Working with the Statewide Office of Information Security, develop and document information security policies, procedures and standards.

 

Years of Experience: 2 - 5 years

Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
