Type:              Contract

Duration:         1 Year

 

Description:

The Web Developer with strong background in C# Programming will be accountable for providing development, enhancement, troubleshooting and maintenance of the VW Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software applications.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•        Plans, designs, and develops new feature functionality for the software applications per internal specifications

•        Writes software applications that contain logical and mathematical solutions to business problems or questions

•        Identifies, troubleshoots and debugs defects in designated application code

•        Works with the Development Team to design, develop and document data integration methods

•        Accountable for meeting delivery dates on assigned projects and tasks

 

Education, Training and Experience:

•        B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field

•        Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with commercial application software

•        Minimum of 5 years experience in Web Developing.

•        Minimum 5 years experience in Software Development Lifecycle

•        Experience writing MS SQL queries and stored procedures

•        Experience migrating applications from VB6 to .NET frameworks preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•        Strong knowledge of manufacturing maintenance practices is a plus

•        Strong Microsoft programming skills, including C#, HTML 5, SQL Server and C++

•        Hands-on knowledge of database design, application and documentation

•        Ability to work independently and as a team member

•        Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
