1.   ETL Programmer

Trenton – NJ

The Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Programmer has worked in areas of data mart/data warehouse design and has extensive knowledge of Datastage Extraction, Transformation, and Loading toolset or toolsets.  The ETL Programmer has worked on some or all of the following steps: Cycle Initiation, Building of reference data, Extraction, Validation, Transformation, Staging, Auditing, Publishing to target tables, Archiving, and Cleaning.  Systems may involve parallel processing or traditional ETL.

 

Years of Relevant Experience:

3 to 5 years

 

Role Description:

All roles specified in ETL1 plus the following:

Analyze existing Datastage ETL jobs of moderate to high complexity, document processes and rules, and rewite etl jobs to increase maintainability and issue debugging. 

Work with DBA's and data architects to understand data structure of new ODS database.

Mentor and assist existing staff on the use of Data stage product to create ETL jobs.

Develop data warehouses, data marts, and/or operational data store applications, including large-scale data volumes, focusing on ETL development.

Analyze database design, including schemas, database structures, data definitions and data models.

Develop data models, entity-relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, referential integrity, and normalization evaluation in programs to maintain the database integrity, retrieve and manipulate data.

Develop enterprise-wide multi-dimensional data warehouses using relational databases.

 

Skills:

·         Datastage ETL Programming

·         Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

·         Communication

·         Documenting ETL Workflows

·         Unix/Linux

 

2.   Network Node manager

Trenton, NJ

3+ Months

Face to face after telephonic

 

Staff needed to migrate from existing HP Openview Network Node Manager version 7.51 to current version (9i) under the Windows platform.  This will include configuring traps, installing and configuring Alarmpoint Express, set up discovery, maps and reporting. 

A new virtual server is built out with NNM 9i installed on it.  It may need patches to be applied.

Alarmpoint Express will be configured to send out notifications to staff based on traps configured.  MIBS will be migrated from current system and events recreated. 

 

A successful candidate will have 5+ years’ experience working with HP Network Node manager and will have performed successful upgrades to the 9i platform.
