Location--- Santa Clara, CA
UNIX Administrator (Sun Solaris & Red Hat Linux)
• 7+ years of Sun Solaris & Red Hat Linux experience
• Working knowledge with scripting tools like PERL & UNIX Shell
• Solid understanding of UNIX based operation systems like paging, wapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do, file system concepts like i-nodes, clustering and logical partitioning etc.
• Experience with VERITAS Volume Manager, VERITAS Netbackup and VERITAS Cluster Server
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in NetApp technology
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in storage technologies
like SAN, NAS, preferably Hitachi and EMC disk arrays
• Experience with VMware virtualization technology will be a plus
• Basic LAN, WAN network knowledge
