JOB TITLE: Java Developer

LOCATION: Austin, TX

START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 12+ Months           

 

JOB DESCRIPTION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Contractor will work with IT Workforce Systems Project manager to maintain current code, modify existing functionality based on federal rules, regulations and user requirements. 

 

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

Minimum Requirements:

Years	Skills/Experience
	Java Enterprise (J2EE) and Linux, Apache web-based applications and/or batch processes
	Developing web applications, web and Windows services using Microsoft C# and Microsoft .NET Framework
	J2EE and multi-tiered web application development with Model View Controller (MVC) frameworks
	Microsoft SQL Server
	Structured Query Language (SQL) development
	Crystal Reports
	Stored procedures or T-SQL for IIS 6.0
	WebSphere or JBOSS
	Extensible Markup Language (XML), HyperText Markup Language (HTML) with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
	Java Server Pages (JSP)
	Experience with handling adult basic educations systems and/or ABE program preferred.

        

Preferences:

	Microsoft Visual Studio
	Eclipse
	Decision modeling (tables/trees) for use in Drules/Rules engine
