Business Analyst

1.       6-8 years of work experience with knowledge of Personal lines property and auto insurance business.

2.       Knowledge of Insurance Policy Forms and Content Management Systems is required

3.       Understanding business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific software requirements. Experience in writing comprehensive Use Cases, BRD and Functional Specs

4.       Agile experience is a plus but not required

5.       Documenting and analyzing the required information and data. Understanding the technical designs as well as the specifications.

6.       Evaluating the information gathered through workshops and surveys, business process description and task analysis.

7.       Effectively communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen and interface designs.

8.       Very strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence and a deep understanding of customer's needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements.

9.       Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams and support teams.

10.   Working with multiple vendors and geographies including offshore team. Prior experience of working in a distributed model will be a plus.
