Description:	CANDIDATES MUST BE CLOSE TO ALLENTOWN, PA & BE WILLING TO GO FOR AN IN-PERSON INTERVIEW AFTER PHONE SCREEN!! Job Description: Duties, Activities, Responsibilities and Competencies: • Perform PL/SQL development for medium to large projects for applications that support clients business. This includes both batch and online systems. • Perform the full range of project software activities (discover requirements, design/assess software packages, develop, deploy and document). • Assesses and corrects performance issues with SQL and PL/SQL. • 4 year college degree in technical field or at least 8 years of relevant experience required. • Must be self-motivated, customer focused and a team player and have proven problem solving skills along with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Technical Qualifications: • Strong skills in Oracle database technologies 9i, 10g, and 11g. • At least 5 years of PL/SQL experience including creating/modifying tables, packages, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, etc. • Experience with assessing SQL and PL/SQL performances including use of explain plans and TKPROF. • Experience with Unix/Linux preferred.
