We need a Technical Project Manager with prior web development experience

Memphis TN

6+ Months contract

 

Start Date - Immediate

 

Technical Project Manager

 

·         IT Project Manager will be expected to deliver IT systems on time, on

·         target, and on budget. This position is a single point of contact for

·         communications and problem escalation and inherently seeks methods to

·         leverage resources and knowledge to benefit the customer and stakeholders.

·         Leverages project management and software development methodologies to

·         significantly increase the frequency and timeliness of delivering new

·         application capabilities

·         Facilitates excellent and clear communications about requirements, tasking,

·         scope and schedule to ensure the optimal function of development teams in

·         delivering new capabilities

·         Communicates with management and team members, strong resolve to keep teams

·         accountable to defined processes and agreed upon priorities

·         Demonstrates strong planning skills to anticipate frequent customer and

·         management course corrections

·         Recommends process improvements, exceptional motivational skills to maintain

·         team's focus and morale

·         Works successfully with all levels of the organization internally and

·         partners externally.

·         Five to seven years of project management experience in Business, Software

·         Engineering, Information Systems or related field of study with proven

·         ability to deliver results on large-scale projects is required

·         High-level of knowledge regarding Project Management methodology, tools and

·         techniques

·         Effective communication, negotiation, conflict resolution capabilities

·         Advanced understanding of corporate environment and objectives and ability

·         to propose solutions for their achievement

·         Effective use of project methodology and continuous improvement of

·         technical/team processes

·         Ability to run effective meetings and provide accurate & timely

·         communications of objectives, progress, status and issues

·         Properly manages project timeline, financials including budget, cost,

·         invoices, budget supplements, change orders, etc.

·         Web Environment experience is a must have.
