JOB TITLE: Decision Making System Analyst

LOCATION: Austin, TX

DURATION: 10+ Months

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The worker's primary activities include but not limited to:

·         Prioritizing the sprint backlog

·         Estimate the effort to implement User Stories

·         Development to achieve sprint goals

·         Implementing test cases

·         Unit and initial Acceptance testing

·         Identify obstacles and informing the Scrum Master

·         Daily Scrum meetings

·         Update documentation

 

The worker must demonstrate past successful projects where the worker contributed in a similar role. The worker will be required to follow DFPS development standards and processes. Preference will be given to those candidates who have related experience to APS, DFPS or other human services agencies.

 

Minimum Requirements:

Years	Skills/Experience
8	Development experience with Java, JSP and related technologies.
4	Experience developing web based applications with MVC design pattern.
4	Data modeling (physical or logical)
4	SQL
2	Experience working with Scrum methodologies and/or techniques
2	Unit testing
8	Strong verbal and written communication skills with peers, managers and customers
2	Weblogic or JBoss Application Servers
2	JavaScript

        

Preferences:

Years	Skills/Experience
3	Client/customer facing time developing software/systems
4	Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
2	Previous work with Adult Protective Services or related Program
2	Development experience with the IMPACT case management system
2	Test Driven Development
2	ANT
2	Continuous Integration with Cruise Control, Hudson or other tool
1	C Programming Language
