Job Description
- Architecture, specification, and analysis of client's UNIX/Linux server infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems and application software.
- Evaluates and recommends new products, maintains knowledge of emerging technologies for application to the enterprise.
- Monitors UNIX/Linux performance
- Acts proactively in assessing and making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Four years of experience as an Operating Systems Administrator providing support, in a full time capacity, of enterprise UNIX/Linux infrastructure for a corporation of at least 2,000 employees.
- Must possess advanced knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems and related hardware, network and authentication services, and mass storage devices and their related technologies.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical documentation required.
- Experience in using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Experience in reading, analyzing and interpreting documents and technical procedures.
- Ability to obtain and maintain gaming licensure in one or more jurisdictions as required.
- Ability to travel to remote locations (up to 25%).
