Location - Boston, MA

  

Job Description – Quick Test Professional (QTP) Expert  

Ø  BA/BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or Business

Ø  8+ years of experience on Software Testing in Finance and Banking domain

Ø  5+ years of experiencing automating financial application using QTP

Ø  Expertise in building enterprise wide QTP automation solution architecture

Ø  Well versed in creating robust frameworks for financial applications, primarily winforms with third party controls

Ø  Should have experience in running automation on virtual machines/environments

Ø  Automate existing functional manual regression/smoke test cases using QTP

Ø  Build & Execute the smoke/regression test scripts on different environments analyze results and prepare presentable report

Ø  Knowledge of SQL highly desirable

Ø  Assess and revise (maintain) existing test scripts based upon test results and/or changes in application

Ø  Work closely with Manual QA/Development team to understand automation requirements, and provide a strong automation service to various projects

Ø  Should have exposure to working in Agile methodology of software development

Ø  Knowledge of Financial (Trade and Risk Management) and Investment Banking applications will be an added advantage

Ø  Experience in integrating TFS with QTP

Ø  Ensure that processes and testing documentation meet total quality management and/or other reliability standards

Ø  Very strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills

Ø  Experience with Performance and Load testing tool is a plus

Ø  Experience with other automation testing tools like Coded UI, Test Complete is highly appreciated
