Websphere Message Broker Lead

Location: Long Island City, NY

Duration: 6+ Months  

 

Position : Technical Lead

Job Description :

·         Minimum 8+ years of experience middleware project implementation and support

·         Minimum 6+ years of experience using IBM Middleware product suite and message broker technology. WebSphere Message Broker (8.0, 7.x, 6.x), WebSphere MQ Integrator (2.1), WebSphere MQ (7.0, 6.0), WSRR

·         Desired good knowledge of IBM DataPower and CastIron

·         Extensive experience in coordinating multiple integration development initiative parallel,

·         Multi-tasking, coordinating with various interfacing application team, onsite/offshore model  

·         Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and project management skills

 

Roles & responsibility

·         Analyze the requirements, get clarity on the requirements from the business users. Get resolution of the queries raised by the offshore team

·         Communicate with the offshore team on daily basis to resolve the queries in the requirements

·         Participate in design / design review / synch session meetings with the onsite / offshore team

·         Review the work product delivered by the offshore team

·         Develop documents on requirements and design

·         Create environment for development and testing, assist Customer IT team/users in building the environment

·         Build a technical POC, guide the team at onsite/offshore to build the POC

·         Provide walkthrough to the users on technical design/POC/UI

·         Participate in the code construction

·         Conduct smoke testing before releasing the environment to the users for the testing

·         Guide the team on technical queries

·         Assist the users for the acceptance testing

·         Assist the Customer team for implementation related issues

·         Provide the project status report and update to the technical manager

·         Managing end to end support responsibility

·         Document and document reviews
